NAS – and had seen that some of His disciples were eating their bread with impure hands, that is, unwashed.
NA26 – καὶ ἰδόντες (5631) τινὰς τῶν μαθητῶν αὐτοῦ ὅτι κοιναῖς χερσίν, τοῦτ ἔστιν (5748) ἀνίπτοις, ἐσθίουσιν (5719) τοὺς ἄρτους
WH – και ιδοντες (5631) τινας των μαθητων αυτου οτι κοιναις χερσιν τουτ εστιν (5719) ανιπτοις εσθιουσιν (5719) τους αρτους

NAS – The Pharisees and the scribes *asked Him, ""Why do Your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat their bread with impure hands?"
NA26 – καὶ ἐπερωτῶσιν (5719) αὐτὸν οἱ Φαρισαῖοι καὶ οἱ γραμματεῖς, Διὰ τί οὐ περιπατοῦσιν (5719) οἱ μαθηταί σου κατὰ τὴν παράδοσιν τῶν πρεσβυτέρων, ἀλλὰ κοιναῖς χερσὶν ἐσθίουσιν (5719) τὸν ἄρτον;
WH – και επερωτωσιν (5719) αυτον οι φαρισαιοι και οι γραμματεις δια τι ου περιπατουσιν (5719) οι μαθηται σου κατα την παραδοσιν των πρεσβυτερων αλλα κοιναις χερσιν εσθιουσιν (5719) τον αρτον
